We now have 5 Versions Available

1. Oil or Gas or Oil and Gas fired Steam Boilers from 25 to 2500 psig. (or equivalent SI units)

Gases include

  • Commercial Natural (Methane) Gas
  • Hydrocarbon Process Gases as typically used in oil refineries
  • Coke Oven Gas typical of steel mill off gases

2. Hot Water Heaters fired by Oil or Gas.

This version is more limited in use for the simple reason that hot water heaters have fewer variables available to control to maximize efficiency. We do believe it can be useful however.

3. Hog fired Steam Boilers firing any combination of any Biomass fuel and light or heavy oil.

4. Coal Fired: stoker or pulverized.

5. Black Liquor Recovery Boilers (not available for sale, only through our on site consulting services)

In all cases we have attempted to make the use of these programs as simple and easy as possible. All fuels have typical default values supplied from an internal data base. In the cases where fuel values vary over short periods of time making it impossible to have laboratory values, such as Hog fuels, the program will allow you to estimate the heat content from the heat balance, or estimate the biomass feed rate.

 To interpret this chart example:

Your boiler burns both oil and hog simultaneously or independantly, has an airpreheater and superheat . The boilerOptimizer program will handle all of these conditions.
