- before entering data, make sure you can get all the relevant
readings.
- do you have the appropriate test
equipment? You may need to invest $1500-$2000 to do things
right. You can get good information without this equipment but
it is recommended.
- do you have the required fuel analyses? Check with purchasing
or your fuel vendor.
- do you have fuel cost information? Check with purchasing
or your fuel vendor.
- are there suitable access points for the probes installed
in the appropriate ducts?
- is this a good time to put this boiler on manual control
while constant loads are maintained for 15-20 minutes periods?
the complete test sequence will probably require 2-3 hours.
- have you printed out several data
collection forms?
