• It may be that this boiler is experiencing progressive fouling.
• The optimum fuel cost occurs at a different load than the maximum efficiency
• There is a significant difference in the optimum load between the loss method and the heat balance optimum."
• Suspect a non linear instrument error.
• There is a significant difference between the feedwater value and the steam rate, suggest you question the instrument department about calibration !
• The steam/fw error appears to increase with increasing load
• The on line oxygen readings are confirmed
• The oil meter appears to be in error by about 6%
